GCIEP is supporting government counterparts with policy reform and capacity
development across sectors that are vital for inclusive economic growth, low-carbon
development and climate change adaptation. UK expertise is applied to address
challenges to financing and the delivery of renewable energy, public transport, water
management and urban resilience, as well as cross-cutting project preparation and
financing functions in over 20 low- and middle-income countries. Several high-level
learning points are shared here, from experience across two years of delivery.
