Across more than 35 low-and middle-income countries, in over 55 cities, GCIEP has worked to integrate Climate, Nature, and Environment (CN&E) considerations into how partner governments plan, design, and finance urban infrastructure. This programme case study summarises learning from GCIEP on mainstreaming CN&E considerations, which improves outcomes in terms of sustainable economic growth, enhanced public health and wellbeing, the financial bankability of projects and better liveability in cities.
