Ordnance Survey (OS) has a long history of providing the survey and mapping infrastructure for Great Britain and supporting the UK Government’s international policies. OS is Great Britain’s National Mapping Service, providing the trusted location data that underpins everyday life: from transport and utilities to housing and logistics, its data supports critical infrastructure, public services and economic growth.

OS has successfully transformed from analogue to digital and are considered one of the world’s leading authorities on geospatial data. It is keen to share its experience with others, knowing that geospatial data helps governments and communities make smarter decisions – whether planning sustainable cities, managing climate risks, or improving connectivity. Recently, OS’s international focus has been on building capacity and capability within government agencies who create, maintain, distribute and use geospatial data.
